The elongated space of the Bishops' Garden is divided into two parts, separated by the axis of the entrance gate from the complex of the Bishopric and the opposite gazebo with the entrance from the bank of a dead arm of the Malše river.
The southern section of the garden is an ornamental park with surviving paths, shrubs and several trees, dominated by the central linden tree; other plants here are e.g. horse chestnuts, from shrubs it is silver berry or lilac.
The southern part near the Iron Maiden gate is romanticised - the slightly elevated ground is accessible by a staircase of quarried stone, the soil under the acacia trees is covered by periwinkle.
