Jablonec parish church. Functionalist architecture, built in 1930-32, the most noteworthy work of architect Josef Zasche, native of Jablonec, one of the most remarkable German-speaking Czech architects of the period between the World Wars (*1871 in Jablonec nad Nisou, +1957 in Schackensleben, FRG). During the construction of the complex (including the adjacent vicarage), the surroundings were upgraded and a new town square was created, including a park where a fountain with a statue of the mythical Knight Rüdiger by Franz Metzner was to be installed. (The fountain was removed after the war and currently is kept in Kaufbeuren-Neugablonz, FRG.)
