The museum originated in a reconstructed protected monument at the parish office. The detached two-storey house on a square ground plan, with cellars and a hip roof, was probably built after a fire in 1779. It has burnt-brick walls, and both brick vault and wooden joist ceilings. In the past it was probably used for the accommodation of parish office employees. After World War II it was turned into storage space. Besides the permanent exposition on the Baroque in the Uničov area, it also presents Jan Sarkander, who worked in the town briefly.
