Trmice Chateau

Zámecká 12
Trmice, 400 04

The neo-Renaissance chateau, commissioned by Albert Nostitz, was built in 1856-1863 to the design by architect Heinrich Ferstel. The original interior has not been preserved. Today it houses an exposition on mining history, railway models, IC on the construction of the D8 motorway, and is used for exhibitions, concerts and wedding ceremonies.

The chateau was built in the neo-gothic style in the middle of a once wonderful chateau park in 1856-63 by the leading Czech aristocratic House of Nostitz.
