A Renaissance burgher house on a Gothic site, remodelled in the late 18th century.

A Renaissance burgher house on a Gothic site, its prominent owners included Havel Oberšverder, the silver chamberlain of emperor Rudolf II, and his grandson the painter Jan Kryštof Krystl. The best known surviving original structural part is the portal with the Golden Sun house sign. After 1964 it was linked up with the adjacent house land-registry no. 160/III. Nowadays it is used by the National Pedagogical Museum and the J.A.Komenský (Comenius) Library presenting the exposition "The Comenius Heritage. The Tradition and Challenges of Czech Learning in Europe", focused on the Czech educational system.
